Inspirational Quotes

Being Indian is an attitude, a state of mind, a way of being in harmony with all things and all beings. It is allowing the heart to be the distributor of energy on this planet; to allow feelings and sensitivities to determine where the energy goes; bringing aliveness up from the Earth and from the Sky; putting it in and giving it out from the Heart. — Brooke Medicine Eagle

Biography

foxy09-08webcam

I have lived in many places across the United States, visited many wonderful destinations around the globe, and accomplished many things during my short time here on this Earth. Where does one start…

I was born in Springfield, Mass. in December of 1960, the eldest sibling. My first decade was spent living in a small place called Agawam. Most of my formative years were spent living in a place called Westfield, Mass. where I enjoyed spending most of my time either outside in the woods, drawing, or with my face in a book. I moved to Sacramento, California at the age of 15 and onto Stockton a year later. Married at the age of 18, I gave birth to a wonderful Son and raised him through his formative years there. Divorced 14 years later, I moved to Cape Canaveral, Florida to be close to my family. I spent many years living in Florida, till I once again followed my family to Omak, Washington where I now reside.

Professions:
As an artist, I shall start there. My Father always said I started drawing long before I could walk. I know I have been drawing & painting as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have a Master Printer for a Father, so I was introduced to the world of commercial art at a very young age. By the age of 10 I was making my first money designing custom logo illustrations, and have never stopped.

What other fields have I delved into? My other love is the theatre & music. I have traveled around the globe as a professional singer [sample] for many years & have loved every minute of it, though I have always taken my “art” along with me. I have also traveled around the globe as a member of a dance company. What kind of dance? I have been involved in a number of dance companies, mainly ballet & I had the honour of being a lead dancer in a mexican folkloric dance company.

Training you ask? I have attended Art School. I have college degrees in the following fields: A major in Fine Art & The Arts, with minors in Dance, Architectural Design, Fashion Design & the Culinary Arts, along with many certificates of achievement in many areas, I am a curious soul, always learning new things *smile*.

Personal Studies:
What a tall order to relate, I am always studying something, research is a passion! I spend alot of time studying herbology, minerology, geology, alternative medicine, to name just a few. If you are curious, just ask, I will be more than happy to elaborate *smile*.

Heritage:
I am a mixed breed, though most Elders and Shamans would definitely tell you that my Native American blood runs very deep. Iroquois & Cherokee with a very small amount of French on my Mother’s side; Celtic, French & Cherokee on my Father’s. I can trace my Native American heritage back to 1610, and am a registered Tribal Chief of the United Indian Nation. Most who know me call me a Healer… some a Shaman. This is a gift and one does not just designate oneself as either or but those that have experienced healing, knowledge, or help from said gift are more qualified than myself to call me this. I will say only that I personally know that I have this gift and I have trained long and hard over many years, since I was very young, in the studies and pursuit thereof.

I have run out of things that I can say in this regards, but feel free to ask any questions, my door is always open and I look forward to the conversations *smile*.

      Greetings Mr. Caviness:

I am at a loss to whom you are speaking to since my name is not Jim and I am a female, ‘SusanAnn’ or ‘Deluhneguh Tsula’ to be exact… Tis a pleasure to meet you. I lived in Washington State for a time in my recent past, in Omak and Okanogan to be exact, so I am very familiar with the places you are referring to…

      Blessings to you and yours,
      SusanAnn | Tsula
